What courts do we use the LA area? There are several private tennis clubs which participate in USTA Leagues, as well as parks.
Use these links to check details on various tennis facilities:
Match courts may be reserved for an entire season through the Department of Parks & Recreation's permit system at $10 per hour.
The City of LA has created a new improved way to reserve match courts in advance.
Team Reservation Card replaces the old Permit Reservation system. There are two huge advantages over the old system.
So here is how to get started:
Tennis Requests can either be faxed to 213-485-8761 or emailed to park.services@lacity.org .
There are limits on the number of permitted courts at each facility, and restrictions on available times. Contact the City at (323) 644-3536 to obtain more information.
You must have a "Reservation Card" for LA City to reserve courts. Each card is allowed to reserve one court (2 hours) per day only, at a cost of $8 per hour. You'll need more than one card to reserve more courts for your team (get one for your spouse, team mates, pets?)
Reservations may only be made one week in advance through the automated telephone system. Find out more with these links:
