Los Angeles Area USTA League Coordinator

It's back! One of LA area's favorite seasons. Men and women age 18 and up play together for robust competition and lots of fun.

Please note that team numbers will NOT be sent until after new ratings have been published.

NOTE: When you request a team number, you acknowledge that you are responsible for knowing the Sectional, National and Local rules, including this season's Supplement, available on this page of our site.

League Dates

12/8      Captains' Meeting (6:30 pm)                     12/23     Initial roster due (min. 3 men & 3 women, with ratings to form appropriate pairs for team's level)
12/27     Schedules published
1/3/12 (or 7 days after sched. published)  Last day for Home Captain to submit date changes
1/7        Season begins
1/10/12 (or 14 days after sched. published)  Last day for Visiting Captain to request date changes
2/12       Last day to add players
2/12       Last day to request refund
4/1         Season ends
5/18-20  Sectionals - Lakewood/Seal Beach

Format

• 3 doubles matches
•  2 sets with a set tiebreak at 6-all, and a 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of the third set
• Men & women playing on the same team
• Age 18 yrs & older
• Players must have played at least 2 matches (one default may count) to qualify for Area Playoffs and Sectionals.
• Players must have played at least 3 matches (no defaults may count) to qualify for Nationals.
